Trencher fitted to a Backhoe
Earthmoving contractor in the wine making area of the Barossa
Valley in South Australia needed to dig trenchers for irrigation between the rows of grape vines.
Using a backhoe with a hydraulic extension fitted with a " 2 " inch pitch hydraulic trencher he was able to reach over the vines and cut a trench and then cut the trench under the next vine without moving the backhoe or damaging the grape vines. The same trencher can be fitted to excavators with or without a quick hitch.
Saved a lot of time and expense for his customer and creating more work for the backhoe
